Bodybuilders develop ‘breasts’ due to supplements
BBC news writes today about a rising number in men who suffer from gynaecomastia, lumps in the chest area. A surgeon, Nader Khonji, sees a patient a day with this problem. One of his patients got it from using creatine, a legal supplement that is popular among gym goers. The doctor believes supplements used to enhance the effect of exercising and to manipulate muscle growth is to blame. The lumps are relative harmless, but can indicate testicular cancer and should be checked out.
